On December 11, 2025, the China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) hosted the Global Civilization Initiative International Youth Talk and International Youth New Year Concert. Nine international students from Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication (BIGC) were invited to participate, joining young representatives from around the world to discuss mutual learning and cooperation among civilizations.

During the event, our international students participated in the International Youth Talk segment, engaging in dialogue with young people from various countries on the connotations and practices of the Global Civilization Initiative. They shared the cultural traditions of their respective countries and held in-depth discussions on the role of youth in promoting civilizational dialogue and advancing sustainable development. At the subsequent International Youth New Year Concert, our international students joined peers from around the world to enjoy traditional Chinese musical pieces such as “Man Jiang Hong” (Full River Red) and “Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix”, experiencing the classical charm of Chinese folk music masterpieces.

As an important platform for advancing youth diplomacy and deepening exchange and mutual learning among civilizations, this event not only provided our international students with a valuable opportunity to broaden their global perspectives and enhance cross-cultural understanding, but also fostered mutual understanding and friendship among different civilizations through the exchange of artistic expression and ideas.

The BIGC School of International Education has long been committed to creating bridges that enable international students to participate in high-level international exchange activities. Moving forward, it will continue to broaden channels for global engagement, enrich the forms and content of exchange, and provide more opportunities for dialogue and interaction. The School will guide international students to share Chinese culture on the global stage, tell China's stories well, and cultivate them to become young ambassadors who promote mutual learning among civilizations and strengthen people-to-people bonds.
